Twists and turns: Shreesurya Chairman Joshi hatching conspiracy by disposing of properties

The Chairman of Rs 1000 crore scamhit Shreesurya Group in Nagpur Sameer Joshi has already disposed of two properties at Rs 10 crore each and soon going to dispose of properties in Chhatrapati Nagar. The cunning reason behind disposing of properties is simple: If the police initiates any action against him, no properties could be seized. Joshi wants the cases should go to court. The longer the period the court takes in deciding the cases the longer the benefits for him. The investors could go dead tired over court proceedings, and, even surrender to their fates and forget their money.

Nagpur News: The day the Rs 1000 crore scam hit the Shreesurya Group in Nagpur rattling the hundreds of investors, new twists and turns, crisscrossing of facts and figures have been cropping up on a regular basis. The “Guru-Chela Parampara” aspect  and their major link in the scam left the investors baffling and in terrible dilemma.

According to sources, the Guru of the company’s Chairman Sameer Joshi, has a connection Anjangaon Surji in Amravati District. The “Chela” Sameer Joshi has gifted his Guru a Mercedes-Benz caliber car. This Guru writes Shankaracharya in front of his name. The Guru has a whopping 20,000-25,000 “Chelas” (Disciples). Sameer Joshi, on the directive from the Guru, had handed over a massive amount of his money to the disciples.

More and more investors lined up in the office of Shreesurya Group in Nagpur as the company had promised and promised high returns to the investors. However, the company defaulted and the investors were left in miserable condition. Even then, the Nagpur police have not registered an offence against the company.

A source, who resides in Shankar Nagar and has requested anonymity, informed that Joshi has already disposed of two properties at Rs 10 crore each and soon going to dispose of properties in Chhatrapati Nagar. The cunning reason behind disposing of properties is simple: If the police initiates any action against him, no properties could be seized. Joshi wants the cases should go to courts. The longer the period the court takes in deciding the cases the longer the benefits for him. The investors could go dead tired over court proceedings, and, even surrender to their fates and forget their money.

An investor from Amravati invested his lifelong money to the tune of Rs 20 lakh in the Shreesurya Group in Nagpur. One shudders to think his sufferings.

The investors are now cursing themselves for the horrible folly on their parts. Had they heard the alarm bells sounded by the RTI activist Sandeep Agrawal years back they would not have been in the troubled waters. But the greed to earn easy and large money blinded them and they could not see the dark future lay ahead. Moreover, the RTI activist Agrawal had filed complaints against Sameer Joshi with Central Government’s Serious Fraud Investigation Department and Income Tax Department. But till today, no visible action was initiated in this connection.

However, Sandeep Agrawal, expressed happiness over the fact that the scam got exposed at the nick of time. Had the cheating and robbing continued for more 4-5 years, the number of investors losing their money would have been in the range of 1.1.50 lakh, Agrawal felt.
